About Us
Welcome to the Young Explorers Early Childhood Program!
Northbrook School District 28's Young Explorers Program is located within Westmoor School at 2500 Cherry Lane in Northbrook. We serve our youngest learners with an innovative early childhood program that encourages exploration and skill development through child-centered experiences, building self confidence and connections between learning and natural environments. The program serves at-risk students, special needs students and typically developing students in a blended classroom model five days a week. All 3- to 5-year-olds living within district boundaries are eligible for our program and can enroll at any time.
