Meet the Program Director

Dr. Jenna Eberhardt has served as the Young Explorers Program Director since the 2012-2013 school year. She previously worked as an early childhood School Psychologist for 10 years, as well as a Student Services Facilitator. Dr. Eberhardt is passionate about early childhood education, and she is a strong advocate for developmentally appropriate, inclusive programming for our students and families.

She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa, a master's degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University, and a doctorate in Educational Psychology from National Louis University. 

In her free time, Dr. Eberhardt loves spending time with her family, skiing, hiking, making s’mores by the fire pit, traveling and watching live music. Her favorite children's books are "Giraffes Can’t Dance" by Giles Andrea and "How to Catch a Star" by Oliver Jeffers.
